Treasury bills are short term debt instruments issued by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for the purpose of financing government projects. They are guaranteed and backed by the full faith of the Federal Government of Nigeria. They are considered by many as risk-free and are issued at an interest rate for a period of one year or less. 

Federal Government Bonds - This is a safe investment instrument that guarantees quarterly interest payment by the Federal Government to Bond holders, while principal will be repaid at maturity. It is in tenors of 2 and 3 years, with a minimum investment amount of #5,000 and maximum of #50million.
