Kayode has over 20 years' experience spanning audit, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, business integration and financial advisory. He joined the FCMB Group from KPMG Professional Services, as Head, Mergers & Acquisitions and was involved in or led landmark transactions within the group, including the acquisition of Finbank Plc, Legacy Pension Managers Limited and AIICO Pension Managers Limited.

He was Chief Financial Officer of FCMB Group Plc between August 2016 and August 2021. He has been Chief Financial Officer of First City Monument Bank Limited since August 2021.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA from Lagos Business School. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has attended executive education programmes at Wharton, INSEAD and IMD Lausanne.

He joined the Board of CSL Stockbrokers Ltd upon the SEC’s approval on July 24, 2020
